Physician & Staff Satisfaction Challenge Before​ ​Scribe  

The daily patient volume required long hours of documentation. Staff was paid overtime to assist the doctors in order to complete workloads​ ​each​ ​day.  Over-worked and over-tired doctors and staff created an environment with the potential to create friction and frustration for all, which could lead to an uncomfortable work environment for staff and an unwelcoming environment for a care-giving,  patient-facing​ ​facility.

Scribe worked with doctors and staff to develop an efficient, more natural workflow. This alleviated the need for overtime for the staff and extra hours for the doctors. This was welcomed and celebrated by the entire group. 

Findings

NANI’s​ ​original​ ​goal​ ​to​ ​gain​ ​”A​ ​cost-effective and​ ​efficient​ ​solution/service​ ​to​ ​accurately generate​ ​’value-driven’​ ​patient​ ​encounter documentation​ ​has​ ​been​ ​realized​ ​along​ ​with other​ ​benefits,​ ​presenting​ ​a​ ​very​ ​strong​ ​case for​ ​the​ ​continued​ ​utilization​ ​of​ ​ScribeMobile​ ​and​ ​Scribe​ ​Charting​ ​services throughout​ ​the​ ​entire​ ​NANI​ ​network. 
The​ ​time​ ​savings​ ​of​ ​over​ ​10​ ​hours​ ​per​ ​doctor each​ ​month​ ​should​ ​allow​ ​for​ ​more​ ​patient visits.​ ​If​ ​each​ ​doctor​ ​sees​ ​as​ ​few​ ​as​ ​2​ ​new patients​ ​each​ ​month,​ ​the​ ​cost​ ​of​ ​Scribe’s services​ ​would​ ​be​ ​covered​ ​and​ ​give​ ​NANI​ ​the potential​ ​of​ ​creating​ ​new​ ​revenue​ ​and growth.
